Refund Policy

Last updated May 30, 2026

TYSM is for sending thank-you payments — voluntary tips, support, and notes — to the people you appreciate. Because a thank-you is a gift, payments are generally final. But we know mistakes happen, and we want to be fair. Here’s exactly how refunds work.

1. Thank-you payments you sent

A completed thank-you is generally non-refundable — it’s a voluntary gift to another person, and the money moves to them, not to TYSM. That said, if something went wrong — you sent the wrong amount, a duplicate, or didn’t mean to send at all — email us at [email protected] within 60 days. We’ll work with you and the recipient to make it right where the funds are still available.

2. Thank-you payments you received

As a recipient, you can ask us to refund a payment you received. Once refunded, it’s removed from your earnings and the receipt is marked Refunded — it’s recorded as a void, never deleted. If a refund happens after the funds have already paid out to your bank, the refunded amount and any related fees may be recovered from you or future payouts.

3. How refunds are issued

  • Refunds are processed through our payment partner, Stripe, back to the original payment method. We can’t redirect a refund to a different card or account.
  • Once issued, a refund typically takes 5–10 business days to appear, depending on the card issuer or bank.
  • The TYSM platform fee on a refunded payment is returned with it; payment-processing fees may be non-recoverable, as set by Stripe.

4. Unauthorized or fraudulent payments

If you see a charge you didn’t authorize, contact us right away at [email protected] and, if needed, your card issuer. We take fraud seriously and will help resolve it. Chargebacks and disputes are governed by the Stripe agreement referenced in our Terms.

5. TYSM Pro subscription

TYSM Pro is an optional $5/month subscription for customization. You can cancel anytime, and you’ll keep Pro through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We don’t prorate or refund partial months. If a renewal caught you off guard, email us within 7 days of the charge and we’ll make it right.

6. Questions

We’d rather talk than hide behind a policy. Email [email protected] and a real person will help.
